Early Morning Structure Fire

At approximately 3:30 this morning units were alerted to a reported residential fire in the Mineral District. Battalion-104 marked on scene of a well involved shed that had extended to a mobile home adjacent to it and declared a working fire. Wagon-2 arrived shortly after as the first suppression apparatus and deployed a hose-line to quickly bring the fire under control. Crews form Mineral, New Bridge, and Louisa operated for an hour and a half to conduct overhaul and cleanup.

Louisa County Fire Stations have worked very hard to prepare for the inclement weather conditions we are experiencing and much coordination has gone into response plans to ensure public safety needs are met.
